Jenni Anspach, E-RYT 500 + YACEP
As a yoga instructor and beach lover who grew up in Southern California and Hawaii, Jenni’s approach to wellness is progressive yet down-to-earth.
Personal development has been a prominent theme in her life since she was very young. Inadvertently, through her mother’s personal development path, she was immersed in NLP and Ancient Hawaiian Huna from the age of 10. At age 21 she found her own medium for self-realization through the physical practice of Bikram Yoga, and her interest in other types of yoga and nutrition occurred as a natural progression from there.
Jenni is a Yoga Alliance certified E-RYT 500 and YACEP trained in Bikram Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, Sacred Geometry Vinyasa, Yin Yoga, and Stand-up Paddle Yoga. With 20+ years of personal practice and over 15 years instructing, she has lead more than 2500 classes to students of all backgrounds and ability levels. Her teaching style is intensely motivating yet sincerely compassionate, as she loves to see students break through perceived limitations and excel to new levels of understanding in their practice!
Jenni has taught at various studios around the country, as well as internationally. When based in Northern California, she was a co-founder of Align Yoga studio. In addition to teaching, Jenni has worked closely with celebrity fitness and wellness expert, Mandy Ingber, including work on her New York Times best-selling book, Yogalosophy: 28-Days to the Ultimate Mind-Body Makeover, and second book, Yogalosophy for Inner Strength, in which she contributed a personal story and two vegan recipes.
With the belief that a healthy, natural diet supports yoga practice and is a main component in overall health, Jenni has completed the in-depth Phase 1 vegan culinary training through Food Future Institute, as well as two previous courses — Culinary Nutrition and Essentials of Superfoods — through the former Matthew Kenney Culinary Academy. She has also worked for Nor Cal-based organic food and juice company, Urban Remedy and loves sharing her passion for beautiful, vibrant food through her Recipes blog.
